Psychology Colloquium was the first class I took at CSULA; with a nutty professor. We referred to her as DR. D. She was quite scary. I would hear her heals coming as she walked down the halls and my heart beat would speed up.
She kinda frightened me!
Okay, I was terrified! My future was in her hands.
She was so direct. She never lightened her comments. She said what she meant and meant what she said.
I was not used to such blunt criticisms.
The final day of her class she complimented us all and she let us throw a party in her office and we all kicked it with her.
When she left from the campus I actually missed her a bit.
And then a friend showed me that she was a regular guest on a popular show
"Thintervention."
She was out helping hundreds of people by the day. This smart and talented and fierce woman.
When I am on campus and I hear heels clicking through the halls, I still get a little jumpy.
