 I have always adored sci fi. Back in the day people always dreamed about what things would be in the year 2000. If you watch old sci fi movies you will find captions referring to

WHICH IS NOW JUST A FEW SHORT YEARS AWAY!

Do you remember life before any of these guys?:  

Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, 

How old were you when the following words and neologisms became part of daily speech?:

Google, Apple, Microsoft, FaceBook, MySpace, YouTube.

Or the expressions: "Google it." "FaceBook me."

 

And weren't the following things generally referred to when talking about filing cabinets and paperwork?: tablets, storage and data transfer.

...floppy, hard disk, SD card, flash drive, hard drive, "iCloud" , the cloud, cable connectors, BlueTooth, digitized devices, websites, search engines...

...portable socialization with anyone, anywhere in the world...
